For air ducts and exhaust gas piping, SKS implements piping systems that are not subject to pressure equipment directives, designed for large volume flows, high temperatures, and mechanical loads in industrial thermal processes.


Large nominal diameters & high volume flows

We design and manufacture piping for large nominal diameters. Ideal for high-volume flows in recirculation, exhaust gas and hot gas systems. It can be precisely integrated into furnaces, recirculation systems and exhaust gas lines.

3D scanning, design, and manufacturing for precision right from the start!


SKS uses modern 3D laser scanners to capture existing systems with millimeter precision directly on site. The scan data forms the basis for collision-free CAD design and dimensionally accurate prefabrication of the piping.

  • What types of piping does SKS GmbH design and manufacture?

    We design, manufacture, and test welded piping for gases, air, and exhaust gases in industrial combustion and thermal processing plants—in compliance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU. This includes gas distributors, flanged gas pipelines, burner connection lines, and air and exhaust gas lines with large nominal diameters. Each pipeline is technically designed, dimensioned, and delivered with complete documentation for safe acceptance.

  • How do you ensure safety, quality, and documentation?

    Our pipes are manufactured by TÜV-certified welders using approved processes and then tested for leaks and strength. Safety-relevant welds are inspected non-destructively, e.g., by X-ray testing and visual inspection (VT2). All materials have 3.1 material certificates in accordance with EN 10204 – including complete traceability and audit-proof technical documentation.

  • Can the pipes be integrated into existing systems?

    We use 3D laser scans to capture existing plants with millimeter precision and create collision-free CAD piping models based on this data. This allows new gas, air, and exhaust pipes to be integrated precisely into furnaces, circulation systems, and exhaust gas routes. This reduces on-site installation times, minimizes rework, and increases planning and cost certainty for retrofit projects in industrial plant engineering.
